Meet your Hosts

Kate is a Usui Reiki Master and a RYT-500 hour yoga teacher who believes it’s never too late to choose happiness! Through restorative yoga and reiki she creates spaces to gather and connect.

Isa is a RYT-500 hour yoga and sound meditation teacher passionate about creating spaces for connection and transformation. She blends movement, mindfulness, and music to inspire.

  • Absolutely! Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, our retreat is designed to meet you where you are. All sessions are optional and can be adapted for all levels, ensuring you can participate at your own pace and comfort.

  • Absolutely! Many guests join solo and find it to be an incredibly rewarding experience. It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and connect with yourself in a new way.

  • Stowe in early June can have days that range from warm (mid-60s to mid-70s °F during the day) to cooler nights (40s or 50s °F). Expect some rain and possible humidity, so be sure to pack layers and be ready for changing conditions! Here are some suggestions:

    • Comfortable yoga clothes + layers

    • Outdoor clothing (waterproof jacket, hiking shoes)

    • Bathing Suit

    • Casual clothes for meals and downtime

    • Cozy socks, sleepwear, and warm layers for evenings

  • Yes, our retreat is a sober, alcohol-free environment, allowing you to fully connect with your body, mind, and surroundings without distractions.

  • Sterling Forest is located in a peaceful mountain valley above Stowe, Vermont, accessible via a scenic dirt road. It's a tranquil, off-the-beaten-path destination where you’ll immediately feel the calm and quiet of the area. Here’s everything you need to know about getting there:

    • By Plane

    • Stowe/Morrisville Airport (private): 15 minutes away

    • Burlington International Airport (BTV): 1 hour away (most convenient with daily non-stop flights from Boston, NYC, and major cities)

    • Montreal (YUL): 2.5 hours away

    • Boston Logan Airport (BOS): 3.5 hours away

    Burlington International Airport (BTV) is the closest major airport (1 hour drive). It's a small regional airport with easy access, making it the most convenient option.

    • By Car

    • New York City: 6 hours

    • Boston: 3.5 hours

    • Montreal: 2.5 hours

    If you enjoy road trips, driving to the lodge is a beautiful experience. The Lodge is located about 35 minutes off the highway, through the picturesque town of Stowe, and down a dirt road. There’s no cell service along the way, so make sure to put the address into Google Maps in advance.

  • Yes! We offer flexible payment plans to help make the retreat accessible. Reach out to us directly to discuss the available options.

  • The $500 deposit is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date.

    We understand that plans can change. Below is our cancellation policy:

    • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the retreat start date: Full refund.

    • Cancellations made between 45-59 days before the retreat start date: 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 45 days before the retreat start date: No refund.


    If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person. Please notify us at least 14 days before the retreat starts to make the transfer.

    We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected circumstances.
